How do I get my old 'My yahoo' back?

How do you get rid of Yahoo 360 and get your old profile back? Or can you switch back and forth btween the 2?

  • I have a problem. If you cant switch back and forth between the old profile and the 360 one then I do not want this Yahoo 360. I would like my old profile and stuff back. I keep contacting the help and yahoo feed back and no one gets back to me. I need some help with this please.

    Yes, you can keep the two separate, i.e. you can have a Yahoo 360 and an old yahoo profile with different URLs. If your old profile is automatically linked to Y360, you can separate them by the following steps: 1) Go to your 360 page. 2) Click on "Settings" near top right corner. 3) In "Yahoo! Identity Display" primary id section, Select "Display me as <your_nickname>", i.e the first out of the three options. This is the critical step. 4) That's It. Go to <your_yahoo_id...http://profiles.yahoo.com/<your_yahoo_id... and your old profile IS BACK! Note: If you have multiple Yahoo aliases as I do, you need to change each and every one of them to unlink profile. Finally, If you don't want Y306 at all, you can make everything in 360 "private". That's equivalent to "delete" 360. BW

If you do NOT want your profile to be the 360 one then do this: go to your 360 page and click on Settings. scroll down to the Yahoo Identity Display portion and make sure that the one selected is the one that says "Display me as: ( insert your 360 nickname here) If one of the options that says "links http://profiles.yahoo.com/***.....%22 is selected then your profile is going to show up as the 360 profile. Click save and you should be set back to your OLD yahoo profile.
