How long do rechargeable batteries usually last?

How long do the rechargeable 360 controller batteries last?

• i've had mine almost two years and it has served me well but it doesn't hold a charge anymore. i play with it plugged in until the light goes from red to green but once i unplug it I get another 20 mintues of play before i have to plug in again. it is probably just run down. it is 2 years old and i dont mind buying a new one. its still better than buying batteries all the time. i just want to see how long other people have lasted.

  It depends on which ones that you buy. In the future make sure that you fully charge the battery's before using them. I recommend buying Energizer 15 Minute Charger for AA + AAA Batteries. I have got about 800+ charges (very good compared to others) from the batteries included with the fastest charger I know of and the charge takes about 15-18 mins. Unlike the Xbox 360 it has a built in fan!!! Silent aswell. :¬) Hope this helps mate!
