How do I add people to my yahoo?

How can I add people on the new Yahoo! profile?

in the previous Yahoo! profiles there was a button "GET UPDATES" through which we could add people, but in the new one there exists only my name and my picture! how should I add people? where from?!

Actually, you're referring to Yahoo! Pulse, and the display of updates that was available via that profile service is not available in the new Yahoo! Profile. This initial version of Yahoo! Profile really has no features. Users can only display textual information and a pic/avatar. That's it. This initial version of Yahoo! Profile does not include any social-networking aspects, including connections, commenting/guestbook, blogs or status updates. Status changes and some other updates are only viewable via Yahoo!
