How do I post a real picture instead of this avatar?

How do I post my real picture - in place of my avatar?

  • I posted it on my 360 and I want to put the picture of my son and I up.... HELP ME!! By the way- check out my 360 isn't my son the cutest thing?!

    I left you a smile. Go to "edit personal photos" and choose the pic of you & your son as the "primary" pic. Just a word of caution. When you post that pic, people CAN copy it. I don't post pics of my kids on my 360 page for their safety.

Make sure you do ALL these steps: Click your avatar, name, or "My Profile" link in the green bar above. Click on the blue "Edit My Info" link to the right of your avatar on profile page. On that “Edit My Profile” page, you can pick: • No Picture • Yahoo! 360 picture : Get my Yahoo! 360 account now! • Use my Yahoo! Avatar : Edit my Yahoo! Avatar Click "Get my Yahoo! 360 account now!" (or go to: http://360.yahoo.com ) (must be over 18). Post some JPG pictures (on the left side – “Edit Personal Photos). Choose one as your PRIMARY and SAVE, OK. RETURN to the " Edit My Profile " page on Yahoo! Answers opened above and choose “Use My 360 Photo” for your avatar. Click PREVIEW at bottom of page, then click OK. Good luck!

well i know how to do it in messenger. u just right click on the avatar. and browse for a pic on ur puter.

Click on your name up there on the left. Click "Edit my info" Select my 360 picture. then save / ok you may need to go to 360 and set your photo as the primary pic before it takes effect. It may take a few days to show anyway.
