How to remove your question from yahoo question/answers?

How do you remove a question in Yahoo Answers?

  • If it has been a day since you asked a question and you want to remove a question you posted, how do you do this? What is the process? Do I need to email Yahoo and ask them to remove a question of mine? (I'm hoping I do not get an answer like "Don't post the question in the first place if you think you may want to remove it in 24 hours"

  • Answer:

    Well it depends if you are on a computer or like an iPod or something! If you are on the computer, under the question there should be I think 4 tabs, one of them should say edit! Click on that then click delete! If you are on an iPod then first you have to go to the bottom of the page and switch to the desktop version and then continue with this process! Make sure you are on the question you want deleted though! Hope this helped(:

Go to your question and below it you should see an option to edit it. Click on that and you will get a drop down menu that has an option to delete question. It's really easy, good luck!

You can only do that if it's Your question and not yet in voting. Once a question has been resolved it becomes the property of Yahoo answers and cannot be deleted. That is part of the rules of the site which you agreed to when you signed up.
