How to get an account un-suspended?

  • My account on a different email got suspended about a year ago for claiming to be a minor (i am one). It still hasn't returned. How can I get it Un-suspended?

  • Answer:

    Unless you win your suspension appeal (which you have to submit within a week of being suspended), there's no chance of getting the account back. Sorry. Being a minor isn't necessarily against the rules here, but the minimum age for YA is 13. If you admitted that you're under 13 here, Customer Care has the right to suspend you immediately.

You only have 7 days after suspension to appeal, In your case you are out of luck, it can't be done.

You can appeal the account deactivation by going here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/first_appeal.html Remember you only have seven days to appeal it; otherwise it will automatically stand as final. Be forewarned there's a very high risk of your appeal will get rejected.

Once it is suspeneded you won't get it back, you will have to register again.
