Can you swim in a gulf?

Can sharks swim up river and can sharks be in a lake if its connected to the gulf of mexico?

    bull sharks have a history of swimming up rivers if it connects to the ocean and if there is a lake connected to either of the two then yes it is very possible.......in history it has been reported sharks have been sighted as far as peoria illinios that swam up the missippi to the illinois river

All I can tell you is it seems anything is possible. I honestly do not recall what paper I read it in, but I remember reading about a shark found in a lake connected to the Gulf. They were pretty sure it swam there and was not transported there and they said these incidents were rare. Just how long the shark would survive in a fresh water once it got there is a whole other can of worms.

Yes I am pretty sure that sharks can swim into a lake if connected to the gulf of mexico.... there are fresh water sharks.

no cause sharks are not in rivers and i a very slim possiblity that they will be in a like they are slat water fish not fresh water fish

there is a Bull Shark, which frequently swims up rivers but dnt know the origin

yes probably but they need salt water and rivers are usually fresh water so dont worry
