How do I set my questions to private?

Is there a way to set your Yahoo Questions to private?

  • If I ever wanted to ask a more private question, I'd hold back since anyone can see all your questions. Is there a way to perhaps hide your profile or your other questions, or make *anything* private? Otherwise,the only thing I can think of is to create anothe yahoo account just for 'those' questions.

    There isn't a way to set your questions to private. Unfortunately, setting up another account for that purpose is against the community guidelines and could get both accounts suspended. The best way to go about this is to ask someone directly. Look around at similar questions to see who's answered them well, or take a look at the category leaderboard for what you're interested in. Many users have contact options on their Q&A pages so you can just ask them directly.

i have never heard of it but you can direct your answer to your blog and have set up so that only certain people may answer. You can set an individual blog to mature or you can catergorize girls only... and so on. OK I don't know if doing such meets with Yahoo's approval... so it might not be legal but you can do it. Yep, I didn't think of that but you could do that too; make another yahoo account and then have only the info that you want people to see on it. And why are you asking this question if you already ggot the answer? wait and let me check something out. OK there is a way to take you IM thingy off but I can still see all the questions that you've asked and all that you have answered. I can email but I can't know your email address. So you have so much privacy already. IF you don't ask or answer any questions or you do but not how you would if you don't want people to be able to guess about you things. You really haven't asked that much to know about you very much.
