How do i make my avatar show?

  • i have one and have had one the whole time my account has been here, which is quite a few months, but i can't figure out how to make it show cause i am really bad with computers.

    Here in Yahoo! Answers, go to "My Q&A" located in the green bar. You should see a section on the left column, the blank default smiley as your avatar. Go to the link titled "Edit My Info" and choose the option that displays your avatar, which is "Use my Yahoo! Avatar."

click on "my ques. and answer" go to edit profile its on that page

To Show AVATAR on yahoo questions go to the link for 'My QA', go to 'edit my info' link and then select the radio button for 'show my avatar' decide who can see it in the options on that page and then hit preview and then submit.

When you are on your "My Q&A" page, click on edit my profile. You can check off your avatar option there.

well, if you want it to show here on Answers... then go to your profile (myq&a link to the right of the search bar), there you will hit the add details... then go thru those options and you will see the one (2nd or 3rd one down) that let's you choose to use your avatar. If you want it on your 360 page,,,,,go to your 360, see the sillouette? right above it is the photo link, click it, see the browse box? look directly under it in small blue letters it says, use your avatar, click it. Not sure where else you can use it... you can send cool avatar postcards thru email from the avatar home site. (click your avatar on the first page of your yahoo mail) good luck hope this helped

u have a corrupt file in your cache folder. Deleting the cache files will correct the display issue. close the Messenger program go to ur desktop & double-click on My Computer. click on C: drive. go to: * C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Avatars * C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Icon Highlight the files in the above folders & press the Delete. make sure you have the Macromedia Flash Player installed. http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash then Sign in to Messenger and u should be all set. Goodluck ^_^
