How Can I Get Back Celebrities On My Top Contributor Badge Again?

  • Unfortunately, I have no longer 3 categories on my badge. I only have one which is Yahoo! Answers. I did not find that out until today. I haven't been answering a lot or receive best answers on Celebrities and Singles & Dating, so that's why I lost it. even though, I have been going back and forth on all 3 categories, so I could not lose all of them. when I receive the TC badge, it was on Singles & Dating and I did not know why until I came to this category and now I know. then I have been working on Yahoo! Answers, so I can get it on my badge. also, I have been answering Celebrities too and then I have receive both on mine. now I want one of them back which is Celebrities. I know that I am a TC on Yahoo! Answers, but I have been forgetting some rules on how to get another one on my badge. so How can I get Celebrities back on my badge? Thanks so much and I will check on this later!

    The Yamster is the only person who know the actual requirements to become a Top Contributor. As far as we (Yahoo! Answers Community) know, you need to be active in a particular category. Rumors say answer 45 questions 30 days in that category and have a minimum of 10% of those answers chosen as the best. You will become a Top Contributor if you do all that and you will get the badge on a Monday morning. (PST). Top Contributor badge is used to recognize a member of the Answers community who has shown that they are knowledgeable in a particular category. Diane, Focus your attention on the particular area you want to earn (reacquire) TC badge for -- let's say spending 60-40 or 75-25 percent of every other day asking & answering question in that particular category. Other days you can spread the wealth, or make it a 50-50 split if you want to strictly focus on just Y!A & Celebrities TC badges. Best of luck to you!!!
