Why does Yahoo remove questions?

To you, yahoo; why do you remove questions for pathetic reasons?

  • I asked people what the highlight of their day had been, but it was removed for being too 'chatty'. I really appreciated the 30 responses that my question had attracted- they gave me ideas about the things that I should try to enjoy. I would like to complain about whoever decided to remove the question. What exactly was wrong with it? If 30 people bothered to respond what is the problem with it?

  • Answer:

Hey, just be very careful what you ask, apparently almost anything can be classed as 'chatting', I've just had a question taken off because of 'chatting', I asked (in the polls and surveys bit), which flavour crisps do you like, it was a survey, how is that chatting? There's no point replying to Yahoo either, they just ignore you!

My friend once posted a simple question but it was taken down 'cause it was considered to be 'chatty' too. If you think about it, all the questions here on Y! Answers can be considered 'chatty'. Yahoo can be really pathetic sometimes.
