Yahoo news comment section has disappeared?

Do you think it would be too much trouble for Yahoo to post a notice on the homepage or on the news articles themselves that the comments have been (temporarily?) disabled and why? Perhaps that would spare tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands? millions??) of users like myself from wasting frustrating hours poking around trying to figure out what the problem is. Especially as Yahoo has no customer care support where you can get a response about anything, either online or by phone.

I've been right the whole time !!! As I said earlier today "if people keep trolling yahoo then there will be consequences" this is just part one though. I give it a year give or take before yahoo is either EXTREMLY censored or just information. No questions, no answers, no comments

That can only be a good thing. I don't know what your US news comments are like but our UK ones are almost entirely filled by nasty racist [insert extremely rude words or phrase here] trolls.
