Is there a benefit from yahoo points?

How valuable is to score more points in yahoo Q&A . Does more points have any benefit ?

    at the moment the only value is that you get to answer more questions and rate on more answer etc......... who knows what yahoo has in store for the future if anything. it's just fun doing it.

Yes- More points means that you will move up levels. The farther you go up the levels the more access you have to Yahoo! Answers.

Its very valuable!! The more best answers you get the better off you are...best answers get 10 points each time. Thats how I got to level 5 in a month! I was and still am, getting 4-10 best answers a day! Plus i was answering a lot of questions too.

Click on your number of points below your name on the left side of the screen. It tells you the points levels and hints at the benefits of being an active member. I just got a Yahoo Answers background when I reached Level 2. Yippee! LOL I'm quite sure things get better as the levels go up though.

I doubt if there are any real commercial benefits like free autos and houses for being No 1, but in any case I can only spend like 30 mins a day answering questions. It's fun - there are some strange questions and some really good answers (inc some real hooters (funny)) ones - it'e enjoyable. Folk who are in the top must do this as a full time job, how do you rack up like 30,000 points whilst we are still in Beta ???
