I'm getting sick of this now, how do I get Yahoo to actually do something about it?

Hi cranberry, i have got the same problem as you, you appeal and you get no responce back. But you must appeal within 7 days of getting the violations. Yahoo need to get off their backsides tbh if you feel you are going to lose your account, make another account as backup and add all your contacts on that, thats what i do

yeah I lost my previous account because of pathetic people who couldn't handle the truth, now i'm walking on eggshells all the time. gone. my level 5 account, my mail from the last 5 years, my flickr account (im a photographer) was the biggest loss. be careful, they will take it away. Get another account to ask the more interesting questions with, and with this account, ask if you're pregnant, (even though we all know you are) and whether or not the guy in your class likes you and you'll be fine.

Happens to me all the time - really annoying. I've tried appealing via email but never hear back from them so i don't bother now. Don't let em get you down! :)

Most of the Yahoo Answers staff members don't actually care.. they just lay back and do pretty much nothing.

I saw someone on the suggestions board say appeal 3 times per unfair deletion, very long winded but worth a go maybe

It sucks, i've posted a q similar to this just now. Last week i put a q down Dr Who related. It was in the right category, it was a proper question no chatting at all. So u get the violation thru and i reply, laying it all down for them telling them to look at questions themselves cos someone is taking the mick out the system. Now this morning i get an email saying they can't look at individual cases but if it was removed then it breaches the guidelines. Basically what chance do any of us have?

Id agree with him above me however if you keep getting your questions removed do you think someone out there doesnt like you and is following your Q&A's. Can you not remove all of your contacts, make your details private and change your name and picture, then whoever it is will not know where you have gone and hopefully stop reporting your Q's xx

I once received a suspension. I queried it and was told my answer probably contravened ... blah blah blah. I persisted and asked why I was suspended without being able to defend myself or knowing what I had been accused of. Next thing I know BANG, back in the room. all suspension gone. No explanation, no apology just a note saying it had been reviewed and I was to be reinstated. Its all very strange ... xx VP
