How do you delete your yahoo answers account?

My Yahoo Answers account is suspended. How to delete of hide the questions?

  • my account is suspended but if I search the questions in yahoo.com or Google.com, you will find those questions and you can read them. This is what I really don't like. Is there anyways to hide them or delete them forever? If i remove the yahoo account, would that also go away? and how can I remove that account? Thank you in advance

    it 's pointless to delete the questions of a suspended account because no one can have access to his profile (he'lle read the ''sorry,we don't find what you were looking for.'').however if you want to do this the unique way is to contact [email protected] and explain the problem!

Hopefully, you didn't get your account suspended on purpose thinking your questions would go away. Even if you had canceled the account, your questions and answers would remain on the site, in the categories in which they were place, permanently. Once questions are closed for answers (resolved or in voting) they become the property of Yahoo! and remain on the site permanently. What you need to do, is before you hit the submit button, think about whether you might wish you hadn't asked that question later on. Then there would be no worries about someone seeing something you wished you hadn't put on here for the world to see.

No, you cannot delete questions that are Resolved, whether your account is active or suspended.

This can't be done at all. Once your previous Answers account was suspended, you can't be able to delete your postings. That means whatever you posted becomes the permanent ownership of Yahoo and can only be deleted when other users report them for breaking the rules. This also applies when you delete your entire Yahoo account.

Once questions go into voting they and the answers to them belong to Yahoo and cannot be removed even if you leave.
