Why does Yahoo remove some questions?

    As far as I know there are 2 reasons on why Yahoo! Answers removes some questions.. The frist one is, if they find that the question is offensive, has some sexual content and are discriminating. The other reason is when you you don;t have a best answer to yuor question, it is automatically removed as thus it will be of no use....

They removed a totally legit innocent question of mine. I am still baffled. The question was whether you like answering better or asking better, on Yahoo Answers. Is this an offensive question? What rule does this violate. Beats me! :) I think, someone is NOT paying careful attention. Is this a PERSON doing it, or the computer I wonder.

Many innocuous questions still violate the Community Guidelines because they're classified as "chatting" type questions. You can mail them at [email protected] to talk to them for your specific case.

Maybe, Yahoo felt it didn't pertain to the catagory you posted it in. Its not their job to put into a relevant catagory, it's yours. Yahoo Answers is here to, Primarily, help people. It also provides entertainment value. If your question doesn't fit the catagory it shouldn't be there. There are enough catagories for you to find one for your question. If you can't find one, then, maybe, you should think twice about posting it.
