Should Yahoo! Answer give us the rights to delete our answer if the asker blocks us?
-
Okay, sometimes our answers might not satisfy the asker, may somehow offend the asker, or our answers might not be welcome. Because of these possibilities, the asker might wish to block you, which will prevent you from accessing the question and to delete your own answer. I personally think Yahoo! Answers should give users the ability to remove their answers when they are being blocked by the asker. Let me hear your opinion regarding this issue, and explain why you feel this feature should be implemented, why it should not, or why it doesn't matter. I would also appreciate if you star this question so your network may get invited Many Thanks. Dad

Answer:
Personally I don't think it matters, it is no skin off my nose if I am blocked or not. I would have no idea of the number of people who have blocked me, if any, and I don't care. If they want nothing to do with me that's their lookout, there are millions of others. I stand by my answers and if somebody doesn't like the way I have answered they can give me a thumbs down, block me or report me. If I am reported I will appeal, and allow Yahoo to decide if it was just or unjust, and accept the consequences. As you already know, if you want to continue this though to the next level you can put it forward as a suggestion in the forum to see how it flies there.

I disagree. You should also use discretion when answering any question. Therefore it is your responsiblity to make sure your answer conforms to the question being asked and not to offend anyone, especially the asker. You are given 1 last chance to not reply when you attempt to answer a question. If you fail to have common sense by then, then it's too late. You will have to suffer the consequences later.

Yes they should and maybe give them a bit of revenge by reporting them too. Jokes. But for the first bit yes.

I could go either way on that one but i do think THE ASKERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO REMOVE THIER QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (SELECTIVE OR ALL ) AFTER 7 DAYS IF THEY WANT TO. ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE AGREE?
