Why can't I change my yahoo mss avatar?

Cant change yahoo profile or avatar pic?

  • ive went to my activity>edit my preferences>update photo or avatar, ive tried uploading ones with .jpg and .png format but come up with this error - "Sorry, we cannot accept this file format. Please select a JPG, JPEG, or PNG file."? ive searched through other questions like this and tried changing the format of one picture, still comes up with the error.. on my profile i go to edit and change picture but it comes up with a black box and a loading circle and stays like that..? i didnt find anything on this problem only ones where it wont save their change.. so im kind of stuck on what to do here, id like a picture instead of the ! pic lol

    That error message is a glitch that is affecting the whole YA site. Unfortunately, we're just going to have to be patient and wait until it's fixed. In the meantime, you can try clearing your cache and temp files. That has fixed the problem for SOME users; it might for you, too.
