When was yahoo ! answers started? What was the first Question asked?

Answer:

The alpha version (internal testing) started in June 2005 (not 2003). The beta release to the public was in December 2005. The first question - has since been deleted. Click 'Discover', click OLDEST link at top of the list - and you will see some of the oldest questions currently still available.

The 2nd answerer gave you great details! It was 12/2005 to the general public I guess. I have seen it stated that the first question in Dec 2005 was..Why is yawning so contagious? I started here 2.10.2006..so fairly soon after it began.
