Gray background for avatar?

I've seen a lot of users with a gray background for their avatar, yet I can't find it anywhere on the site. Any ideas of what key words I search or something like that? I really want it :)

do you mean like the grey smily face one? if so, then i dont think you can get that. They put that for ppl who dont have an avatar and to my knowledge i dont think you can delete your avatar However i think you can go to yahoo pulse. click your avatar and a box should pop up with your avatar and another blank one. Try it.
