Is my question a violation of the rules here?

Here is a link to the question I just asked about being gay. You don't have to read the answers as the answers are quite lengthy themselves but just read the question and details I posted about being gay. I want to know if this question I asked violates any rules here. I was just asking a simple question when some random guy emailed me some hate mail cussing me out. He also said I need to be raped and locked in a mental hospital with maximum security and how he hopes someone comes to find me and hurts me. In the message he said that he reported both my profile and my question to yahoo staff to be deleted because my question violates a number of rules here but I want to make sure because I did not think my question was in violation of any rules.
