How do I delete my questions from my Q&A page on my yahoo answers profile?
-
My cousin, being the strange person she is, somehow got onto my yahoo account and asked some really "interesting" questions about her and her boyfriend and then one about her friend (as you can see if you visit my page) and I don't want them there anymore! Is it possible to somehow delete those 2 questions, or do I have to delete my yahoo answers account (if so how can I do that without deleting my yahoo mail account?)?

Answer:
You can't. Couple of things are working against you in this quest, first being the Terms of Service you agreed to when you made your answers account. MEMBER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD AND SECURITY You will receive a password and account designation upon completing the Yahoo! Service's registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Yahoo! of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. Yahoo! cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section 5. So, you are responsible for everything posted by your account. Now add this, from staff: We only delete questions if they violate the community guidelines or reveal personal contact information (e.g. Email address, phone numbers, address etc). You can see confirmation here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/ratings/ratings-56227.html http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=answers&fid=268102 The fact that questions/answers cannot be removed is mentioned on the help pages and also clearly stated in the Terms Of Service (which is a legal document) which you (a) confirmed you had read and (b) consented to follow as a prerequisite to creating a Yahoo! Answers account.

You can't. You can only delete open questions. Once they are in voting or resolved, they are yahoo's property and all over the internet. Even if you delete your Yahoo! account (you cannot just delete your answers account) they are already out there for everyone on the internet to see with a google search and on other websites. Learn from this: 1. NEVER post anything on the internet you don't want everyone to see. 2. Learn to read the Terms of Service when you sign up for something on the internet. Don't check the box and lie and say you read it.
Click on the question >edit > delete Edit : In that case... You could try to report the question as abusive. They will delete it if they agree. That's the only solution I see. May be you could ask to many people to report the question as offensive
