  First, you'll need to enable Answers communications to send e-mails to others. Hover over My Activity at the top of this page and click Edit My Preferences. When you're on the edit page, click the Privacy & Communications tab. Scroll down to the area that says "The answers community can contact me via..." and check e-mail (or IM, whatever your preference, but it will have to be e-mail if you want to e-mail others). Click submit at the bottom when you're finished. Now, to e-mail other users, visit their profiles (click the avatar) and click the "Email <User>" link. Not everyone has this feature enabled, and if they don't, there's no other way to contact them. Some people want total privacy.
