Why can't I stay logged on to my yahoo?

I cannot stay logged in to Yahoo Answers for more than 2 minutes?

  • Recently I've been trying to share my knowledge here in the community and answer others' questions. The thing is, my browser (Firefox) won't stay logged into Yahoo Answers long enough for me to answer a question! This only happens with Answers, strangely enough, as Yahoo Mail or any other service will stay logged in forever. Cookies are enabled. Only thing I can think of is either to: a) Delete all Yahoo cookies and let them get saved again, or b) reinstall Firefox Thank you.

    I experienced exactly the same issue recently. In the end, my hard disk crashed - it turned out that all the problems were down to bad sectors on the disk. Hopefully, your case won't be so drastic, but you never know, because Answers places a higher load on the browser than most sites. In the meantime, yes, clear your browsing history and cookies, do a full virus scan, and if that doesn't help, reinstall Firefox. If you're still having problems after that, back up all your data and get your pc checked out by an engineer.
