Is it possible to get below One point on yahoo answers?

Why do you get a thanks for visiting point after 6pm but not when the day begins after 12am?

  • Every day, you get points that says "Thanks for visiting" if you join Yahoo Answers sometime after 6:00 PM every 24 hours. So if you signed in before 6 PM one day and already had your point and then didn't sign in the next day until after 6, you would've lost a point. Why is it that they do that at 6:00 PM but not 12:00 AM? I'm always confused by that time but midnight is the time of day that if you've reached your daily voting limit of the previous day, you can vote again after 12:00 AM and I have already used it up and I'm about 7,000 points or about 46-2/3 days or less away from level 7, depending on if I win best answers and I already made a mistake when voting because I forgot to check to see if I answered it and a lot of people never choose best answers which gives us a good opportunity to increase in daily points but it also puts us at risks for mistakes unless I answer 150 questions in a certain section for a total of 1,950 points per day which would make me reach level 7 in about 3.6 days or less but I can answer an infinite amount of questions per day or earn an infinite amount of points per day so I'm really merely a variable away from level 7, 0 to an uncertainty amount of days.

  • Answer:

It has to do with timezones. What''s 6.00 AM to you may very well be midnight to yahoo
