How do I get my stars for favorites back?

What do you get if someone stars or favorites your question?

  It means they found your question interesting or unique. It does NOT give you points, but it's nice to be recognized, anyway. By favorites if you mean "rating" then read this..... Thumbs Up/Down? You spend time in level one with no rating to mellow you, hopefully, and to see what thumbs up/down is really about. It's NOT to target answers you don't agree with, everyone is entitled to their point of view. It's NOT for harassing people, people should feel free to answer without fear of retaliation It IS to show blatantly wrong information that could mislead the asker. It IS to reward answers you consider exceptional You Should Know- Thumbs up/down is meaningful in one instance only: Points are given for thumbs up on a " Best Answer"; up to 50 are counted. Any other time thumbs up or down means and does absolutely NOTHING. It's nice to be noticed by others who thumb up one of your answers and thumbing down only shrinks the answer on YOUR computer,NOBODY elses'. There are idiot trolls who thumb down every answer but theirs, thinking it gives them a better chance to have their answer chosen "best"........ Stupid,stupid,stupid.trolls . Hope this helps.....JT
