What are the best yahoo gropus?

What is the best tip you have received on yahoo answers?

  • I really enjoy yahoo answers and I hope yahoo keeps it going for years to come. I have found valuable information and it was easier to retrieve it on this site than over the internet. I have read funny things, informative things, religious issues and opinions, non sensical stuff and serious issues and advise. ...since you have been on yahoo answers what is one or two of the best advise or bits of information you have received.

  • Answer:

Be patient and wait, keep a positive attitude. Sounds corny, but true.

Best advice I've gained, is not to go ahead & shoot my ex-husband in the face even though he deserves it. YAY ANSWERS :)

Absolutely nothing. For the most part Yahoo Answers is a bunch of moronic teens asking "do you think he likes me" questions, and actually expecting people to know. Or commentary on Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, etc., Or rascists, fanatic muslims, pompous atheists, music piracy and software stealers. The best thing I've learned from Yahoo Answers, is that there is no hope for the future or the English language, as people have forgotten to speak or think coherently. That this generation is by far the most self-centered, whining, illiterate spoiled generation ever. Who in their right mind asks for medical advice on an internet forum populated by prepubescent teens who can't spell?

To see a counseler and to learn how to spell. XD which wasn't funny at the time, but now it's hularious that people will waste their time just to type a message on how you can't spell. lol

This may seem trivial to some, but my question on YA enabled me to FINALLY make up my mind on the best material for a sautee pan.

Just after had started I thought I was answering a question from a young man who was trying to dispose of some family treasures an I answered rather flippantly. I got a email back that told me off. It seemed the guy was in his 70's trying to protect his stuff from his grand-kids. I am in my 50's so the lesson I learnt was simple. Respect on another, you don't know if you are talking to someone Younger Your age The age of your parent The age of your grandparent.

I love the jokes section.....they make my day. I've had emergencies in the kitchen where I needed to replace ingredients and people helped me figure out how when I couldn't come up with something myself; I've had car problems and some mechanics helped me; I've had computer issues......I have a son going to Iraq and another is a heroin addict (had a lot of support and heard a lot of similar stories) -- so many positive things.....you just have to ignore the "toads" (more than like children on here or people who are miserable) --- I've received a LOT of help. I'm on level 7 (not top contributor as you have to have a good percentage of "best answer" and I tend to let the little girls on here know (frequently) how easy it is to copy their photos by pervs and I don't think they appreciate that much -- LOL.

Someone told me to do an Asian chick and it was the best advise i ever got.

It's very enlightening. The number of people who can't actually spell the simplest of words, or string together an intelligible sentence, is truly mind boggling. Yes it's very entertaining too!
