What is wrong with my YA account?

How do I make a new YA's account?

  • I made a new yahoo EVERYTHING account [email] and signed up for YA. When doing YA part of it I was made to verify password to FIRST [email] acct and give THAT password??? Original YA account stemmed from my regular YAHOO acct that I have had for several years and do not want to lose. I have a stalker and wish to protect acct I have had for years in case YA closes it. I have already deleted contacts, and made everything private in first YA acct. I have also blocked everyone. I thought if I changed the email address being used by my first YA account, to new Yahoo Email account that new account would be deleted if stalker gets his wish. I NEED HELP!!! Any and All constructive input is greatly appreciated!!! Thank You.

  • Answer:

The YA account will ALWAYS be linked to the original email that it was first signed up to. You can block everything on that account, as you say you have, but you can't 'disconnect' it from that email. If you made it private, removed contacts -- AND FANS -- you have done the best that you can. I would also suggest that on THAT account, you change your avatar to the greyhead, and the nickname of the account. Then, just abandon that account and hope for the best with it. Sign OUT of that account, sign IN to your NEW mail account -- and make a NEW YA account for yourself, using the information for that new email account. Use that from now on. Yes, it means you have to start over, but sometimes that is what it takes.
