Where do i go to find a screenname so i can check out someones profile?

    The other user would have to be online in order to view the profile of a user on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). You said that the other person knew where you were from, so it was most likely a friend playing a joke with you. Also make sure that this information isn't posted in your own profile.

They might have used another profile besides their primary, but you can check here if its Yahoo!Chat http://members.yahoo.com/

Issue like this have occurred for me as well. Usually is something with their name. Get them to send you their Facebook Profile link, where they simply go on their profile then copy the url.
