How do you add a link to a photo on a question?

HELP WITH PHOTO LINKS ON FLICKR AND YA?

  • When I add a link on a Yahoo Answers question to a photo on my Flickr account, people can't see the photos. Why? Do I need to log out??

  • Answer:

    Assuming that you are using the correct link (easiest way is to go to the photopage, click on "Share" and copy and paste the link from the box. If that's ok then check that the photo is set to public and safe on Flickr. Do this by going to the photo. On the right near the bottom of the photo is "Owner Settings" Click on "Show more" Under "Privacy" it needs to say "Anyone can see this photo". If not then click "edit" and alter the setting. Under "Content filters" it needs to say "Safe". If it says "moderate" or "restricted" then you will not be able to see the photo unless you are over 18 and logged in to Flickr. Alter it by clicking "edit". You cold also have an account problem. Check by going to You => Your Account - Personal Information Next to "Your safety level" it should say " Your account has been reviewed as safe by Flickr staff" If it says "Not set" then you have not been reviewed. This happens once you have uploaded 5 public photos (it takes about a week). If more time than this has passed then ask for a review - http://www.flickr.com/help/with/review/ If it says "unsafe" or "NIPSA" you may need to contact staff directly - the FAQs on the above link will tell you what to do.

Not needed, it should work as usually, just open your Flickr pic, copy address, and paste to question, make sure when you write question, that no marks are missing in link
