Violation Question?

How in the world is this question a violation?

  • It's amazing how this question about food is deleted but yet questions spreading hate racism bigotry people talking about their private parts seems to always pass the violation radar. This place really has it's priorities messed up-> Deleted Question: Have you ever tried Rice with Fried Eggs? If so did you like it? Question Details: Violation Reason:Community Guidelines and/or Terms Of Service Violation

  • Answer:

It sounds like you had a little incident with an angry troll or group of them. Did you "chat" with any users in the additional details of the question? If you did, someone may have reported you since talking to other users via the additional details is a violation. If you did not, I would appeal the decision as it seems ridiculous as to why a question like that would be deleted. It is definitely seeking knowledge and it is not chatting. Sorry this happened to you - best of luck in your appeal.

Possible trolls.

Duh!!! I answered the question. Must be trolls on the prowl tonight! Somebody must have read a double meaning into what "rice" and "fried eggs" are??? I'd say you have grounds to appeal this one. Besides I want the B A ten points!

papaw

Could have been those mean trolls. If I were you I would appeal.

Heyy!

Honestly i don't know but Yahoo needs to do a better Job with this is all i am saying

Trolls and haters! I asked this question and I got reported. "Do your parents fight a lot, a little, not at all?" They haven't gotten back to me and and said they weren't individually solving cases or something like that...w.t.f.

Sora

Probably trolls. That does not even violate any guidelines.

Happens all the time ... perfectly valid questions are reported and deleted, while questions (and answers!) that are CLEARLY in violation (sometimes even illegal) remain up. I didn't see your original question, but unless there was something questionable in the details of your question, I can see no reason that it was in violation of anything. You could certainly appeal the violation if you wish. I think you can make a case for having the violation overturned. By the way, YES I do like rice with fried eggs (or ANY kind of eggs) ... I eat rice the way most people eat potatoes ... no different than hash browns or homefries, to me ... and I think rice goes well with eggs!

Noooo! Not the egg question. I don't know, maybe a vegan reported it on grounds that it was insulting to them that you were promoting animal products? I don't get it. I just asked a question and I had a few answers that were just plain cruel. It's an attempt to embarrass the asker and discredit their Q. Yet they get to stay on. Why is it that the non-threatening and innocent Qs and As get removed while vulgar nasty people keep having theirs coast through?
