When I ask a question on here and people answer, but not answer my question, why do they still get points?

I know I hate that to I started flagging all the ones who do it to me about the roaches I know this is gross but we had to live with roaches for almost 3 years WE TRIED EVERYTHING! and anything the ONLY thing that will work is to spend the money to have pest control come out every 3 months THIS WILL WORK with in 2 weeks we barely seen them with in two months they where completely gone it is so worth it don't waste your time or money on anything else like we did hire a pest control

If their answers were completely useless and off topic I would support your assertion. However, their answers are as helpful as they know how to be. They are entitled to their points for attempting to help you however dissatisfied you might find yourself. Taking your assertion a step further, if you don't know what would work how can you possibly say for certain that their answers are not helpful? One user suggested Boric Acid which is a classic remedy for roaches. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with Boric Acid or have never battled roaches. Having dealt with them when I lived at home I can tell you there is only one "homemade, no chemical" solution: your foot. You can step on a roach and kill it. That's about it. Or a flyswatter. Even that is store bought. Go with the Boric Acid.
