What is the chance of being hired as a chemical engineer?

If I have experience in a foreign major airline, will I have better chance of getting hired?

  • If I have experience in a foreign major airline, will I have better chance of getting hired when I apply for major airlines in the U.S? for example, if I become a first officer in Boeing 737 and work for about 3 years in a foreign country and then return to the States and apply for the majors, will I have a better chance of getting hired than just coming from a regional airline?

  • Answer:

Experience (flight hours) on larger jets (737 and up) is the reason - You might also make an entire career overseas or with foreign airlines - Several foreign airlines do have a pilot base... in USA or Canada -

I don't know the rules in U.S.A but apparently, yes you will. Experiences are always appreciated in aviation employability.
