I want to become a pilot?

Actually i want to become a commercial pilot and i have no idea how to be a pilot . can u tell me how??.. .?

    Well, there are plenty of websites that explain the process of becoming a commercial pilot. One way would be to join the armed forces as a fighter pilot. Gain some experience and then switch over to commercial avaition in your late 40s. If you are interested to start right from the beginning, do a self reflection first on why are you so keen to be a pilot. Trust me, you and I are not very different in our ambition. If you can reason it out, congrats! Start looking at the different airlines and their job requirements (esp nationality and citizenship). If you feel that you have a shot, apply!! Most airlines would give preference to candidates with higher education qualifications, so gotta keep on studying to earn those wings! In the meanwhile, you could go for a medical test with Avaition Medical Examiners (AME) in your region to see if you have what it takes to fly the big birds. The cheapest way is to join the military. If you are smart enough and have the aptitude, you can go to flight training school. You might need a college degree first. Check with them.

why do you want to be a pilot? It is not a very interesting job. You need to be a particularly calm, methodical, boring person to succeed.

Do not become a commercial pilot. Become a private pilot...fine. Become a military pilot (unless your Iranian) ....fine. But commercial/airline flying is not what it used to be, so enjoy flying for flyings sake and make your money elsewhere.

It's a tough row to hoe to become a commercial pilot. Typically you get your private, instrument, and commercial ratings, spend a lot of time instructing (for not much money) to build up time, then get a position with a freight carrier before you get to work for a passenger carrier. But flying is delightful to do, and you are old enough to get a private pilot license. A couple of months and about $6,000 will do it. Go to a nearby airport and talk to a fixed base operator. When I fly, I find that I am more of a systems manager than an airplane driver: I turn on the autopilot, keep an eye on the gauges, and mostly enjoy the ride.
