Well india is going to hire like several thousand crews over the next 20 years,,I know freinds that own a aircraft ground manufacturing company in southern india and they are booming,,, more flyts, consolidations, more cargo. I know i had to send a 20,000 lb engine over in a 747 freight and it cost a chunk,,,

As India has yet to develope any product that is completely theirs I would suggest they have zero effect. Besides, who in their right mind would buy an Aviation product from a country renowned for poor QA and lazy manufacturing techniques?

I wouldn't be surprised that India may someday become a major player in the aviation and transport industry. As their economy improves their skilled labor has more reason to stay in India. Now I wouldn't expect this in the next 20 years but after that I think anything is possible.

Improving economy, means improving per capita income. Medium class is approching towards higher class, means availability of spare fund is higher. To save time and live lavishly is becoming a trend. Open economy has made our "white Elephant"-IA & IAC, vulnerable. Competition has build up and industry is competing with Indian Railways in their AC class. Number of big guns have emerged and adding to their fleet. Second and third grade towns are emerging, and are connected through regular sevice. Number of connected towns are becoming hot tourist spots for National and International tourists.
