Do not even imagine that a rich captain will marry you - They have wife and kids, and 2 ex-wives to pay alimonies to + child support - Anyway, pilots do not date flight attendants of their airline - One "indiscretion" and the entire airline will know of your intimate secrets - Besides that - Low salary the first years, frequent base changes (other cities) - First years - your schedule is reserve, or flights on week-ends and holidays - Forget family functions for Xmas, Easter, Thanksgiving or Memorial Day - These are the days YOU WILL FLY - Passengers are nice - "hey stewardess, can you change my baby's diaper...?" Travel benefits and privileges - Reduced fares on mid-week rainy night flights IF there are empty seats - And your 50% reduced fare is more than discounted tickets of passengers - Now, my suggestion to you - Fly a few years as a flight attendant for a major airline, see a few countries - Then apply as corporate flight attendant, planes like Gulstream, or 737 BBJ - Only 2 or 3 passengers (or empty plane) - Just order the catering they like - That is good pay, little flying, 4 star hotels, and lobster remaining after flights - Even 3/4 of a $100 red wine bottle left you can share with the pilots - Good luck - .
