    I see you are from Bangladesh - I would recommend you to obtain the JAA (EASA) [f]ATPL that you mention at a price of $55,000 - However be aware that portions of the [f]ATPL for licencing must be completed in Europe - Is it included in your "package"...? - Be aware that there are a lot of scams regarding the training for JAA licences in USA - The FAA licenses are only required for you to fly in USA during training - Getting CFI training is nonsense for non-USA citizens like yourself, since you cannot work in USA and a CFI license cannot really be used outside of USA - Only recommendation - Upon the end of training would be to obtain a type rating for B-737 as your national airline Biman will get these airplanes - If you do the rating on your FAA license it will cost approximately $15,000 since you do not qualify for all-simulator rating and will require 3 takeoffs and landings - Have you considered doing your entire training in Europe, thus avoiding the FAA licensing and gaining money and time for training...? Have you talked to Biman about being hired as pilot by them...? If you do not get employed there, you should apply with airlines having 737 airplanes in Middle East, Africa and Asia -

Like any trade, piloting comes with practice. They call the PPL a license to learn. These high priced, quick training organizations forget the fact that to become a marketable pilot you need experience (hours in the cockpit). You will run into so many different situations you can learn from as a Private VFR pilot (including dangerous ones). It cost me about $7500 for my PPL and another $6000 for my IFR cert. But through that training (about 12 months) I got to fly into bravo airspace, through MOAs (with approval), as well as dealing with runway incursions, engine failures, spins, and icing. You can't guarantee those experiences with those programs. If you are thinking CFI, then you have a responsibility to the students and the people on the ground to have enough experience to deal with very stressful and complicated situations. You pay for the speed in which you get your licenses but you lose the fact that you need to engulf yourself in the knowledge and gain real world experience to become a successful and SAFE pilot. Overall, even with those licenses, you wil still have hundreds of hours to accumulate before the airlines will even look at your resume. Airlines want the experience, so regardless of what you choose, in the end it comes down to your log book. Be prepared to spend additional thousands to get into this career.
