Where can you buy a used Bell UH-1H Huey? not for flyin, just for looks? Preferably without engine.?

Lots of aircraft wreckers out there that I am sure would sell you one for the right price. The trouble with the UH-1H (Bell 205) is they are still very popular medium helicopters. Ones that are completely wrecked are often rebuilt from the data plate up (circumventing the letter but not really the spirit of the law in manufacturing helicopters, as virtually everything is brand new but it carries the same serial number) because there is nothing new that is comparable or cheap. For helicopters that are completely destroyed, they are pillaged for any part that is reusable or rebuildable. So even a hulk that barely resembles a UH-1H will command a premium price.

There are actually many sources to buy surplus aircraft. As mentioned, Barnstormers or any aviation classified source is a good place to start. I personally find just about everything I'm looking for on eBay.com. I've seen several UH-1's listed on there over the years. I've personally bought and sold four turbine engines on there (including a T53 used in the Huey... which I sold to a guy who owns two old Huey's here near Seattle).
