What is a normal schedule for a flight attendant?

What is the best way to become a flight attendant while in college?

  • I am about half way through my four year plan in college. Sometimes I feel like just dropping out and pursuing flight school by making money as a flight attendant. Aviation is a passion of mine and I fear I may lose interest after I graduate if I don't pursue it now. Hypothetically, if I did get a job as an attendant it would obviously complicate my schedule and attendance as a student. Does anyone have any experience or advice about how to do both: school and becoming a flight attendant?

  • Answer:

Sorry, but you would not be able to stay in college AND be a flight attendant simultaneously, at least not for the first year or so after being hired. Don't quit school. get your degree and then apply. any other course of action would be foolish and based on emotions, not logic. emotional decisions are rarely good decisions.

First year flight attendants are often reserve either at home or airport - Means need be ready to fly within say 30 minutes - Do your college - and when nearing your degree, apply with airlines -

There is no such thing as a 'part-time' flight attendant, and you'll have a much better chance of being hired for a full-time job if you complete your college degree. First things first.
