Whats the difference between Bachelor of Aviation and Advanced Diploma Airline pilot course?

• What is the exact differences between those two? do you have more chances to get accepted at airline companies if you have bachelor? because i thought being a pilot was mainly about the licenses that you hold. Another thing is, i've noticed that there is ATP course however this is only theory based, so is there such thing as a ATP practical tests? Final question is, i know that you are suppose to fly planes which you are licenses to so after this CPL and ATP theory, where do u go? and what are you suppose to do? This is advanced diploma airline pilot course is based on 'Aerospace Aviation Australia'

  The difference is a Bachelor's degree is a real thing issued by an accredited university. An "Advanced Diploma Airline Pilot Course" is a sales gimmick invented by some flight school in order to attract customers and is not a degree in any real sense of the word. Yes, there is an ATP practical test. It is a checkride where you must demonstrate proficiency to the standard listed in the ATP Practical Test Standards (available at your local flight school or Barnes and Noble for about $6) I don't understand what your final question is asking. Are you asking where to look for a job? Try the airport. In reality, you will need to go out and get a CFI and look for a flight instructing job. That job does not require an ATP, so its usually a bridge between your CPL and your ATP. There is really no reason to get an ATP on your own. Every company that hires you is required to give you a checkride, and if its a requirement for your job that you need an ATP, its a simple process to simply get it issued during the same checkride. You will need your written test completed prior to your interview though.
