How to become an airline pilot?

How can I become an airline pilot or flight attendant?

• I love being at airports and flying, so im thinking of having a job as either a flight attendant or pilot. I havnt quite decided on what I want to be between the two. Im 17 and will be going to my last year of highschool. Im a girl, so I'm a bit discouraged of becoming a pilot. I wouldnt mind becoming either a Flight attendant or a pilot, but because i get good good grades (A's and B's) I wana try and push myself in becoming a airline pilot. I heard that all the pilot licenses ill need cost alot :S . I can speak english and czech fluently and know a little of spanish. It would be really helpful if you could tell me what i need to do to qualify, and what schools ill be needing. I live in British Columbia, so it'd be great if you knew exactly what schools offer the courses i need. Prices and websites would be helpful too. =)

  getting your license in a cessna 152 should be $6,800 (not including ground school) that should be an extra $500-ish 35 hours of flight training with instructor-$4,795.00 20 hours of solo flight time-$1,800.00 20 hours of pre and post flight instructor briefing-$940.00 Enrollment Fee-$40 Less available block time discounts, if prepaid- $753.00 total=$6,822 i got the price list from flydai.com its a regional airport outside of DC (khef) you have to get all of your licenses, and hours.... so its expensive and takes a long time to get where you want to be, there are several ways to gain experience (becoming a CFI, airforce, work for a regional airline) just look some up and figure out what is best for you... just know what your getting into, bad pay (mostly when you start), long hours, and your never guaranteed a job
