How to become a fighter pilot for the U.S. Air-force?

• I'm a senior in High school and this has been a dream of mine since like 4th grade. Before you answer yes I know this is not an easy career and you have to be in the top of your class and all that stuff. Ive read that one of the best ways to become a fighter pilot is to join the Air-Force Academy but my high school grades are not good enough for that. Since my Gpa isn't good enough I was thinking of going to community college for two years then transferring to a University and do rotc therefore giving me my bachelors but i don't know if the air-force will do rotc for just 2 years in a university. Can someone give me some options or some type of help please? Any information will help too. I have been doing research and I just cant find any answers all my questions.

  Your plan is fine, major in a hard science (math, physics, etc.) and have a great GPA (note they are all caps). It would also help if you knew Air Force is two words, no hyphen and they are both capitalized. But you did better than most that ask here.
