How to get a job as a flight attendant?

Not knowing which airline you have applied with it is difficult to answer specifically, but apparently this airline has its headquarters somewhere in AZ. A "base" for a flight attendant usually refers to the airport that you are assigned to and where all your trips start and end. But this airline may only have the one base. As the other poster noted, it would be best to get this information from the recruiter or HR person who sent you the email. Surely if you read the email more thoroughly it would have said something about letting them know if you were going to attend an interview or information session, and IF they were going to make travel arrangements for you the email would have asked you to confirm dates and times. For an information session (which is like a large group interview), you would normally be responsible to get yourself to the interview location. The sessions attract hundred of applicants and very few are qualified, so the airline of course is not going to provide transportation. Later, if you are selected to go forward with the hiring process, the airline would make arrangements for your flight wherever you would be having the one on one interview. Good luck!
