Is Virgin Atlantic a good airline?

  • Planned to go to India in Virgin Atlantic. Just hoping it turns out to be a fabulous flight or else it'll be just a waste of money. Also what kind of food do they serve. Is the food based on the country you ate going to. Thanks for your answers and opinions.

    Whenever my partner decides that they wish to spend my money unwisely we always travel with Virgin Atlantic. The latest flight we travelled with them on was in January when we went from Heathrow to San Francisco. Aircraft was cleaned well and crew were of a high standard in comparison to a number of Airlines. Food was good even for us who travelled in their premium economy section and we still got an excellent view etc...all in all a good trip and well worth the flight.

Yes, they're an excellent airline, certainly one of the best I've flown with. Food = in economy class it's a bit better than normal airline food, slightly better taste, but to be honest unless you're travelling 1st class, no airline's food is great. In my book they come in second to Cathay Pacific.

Virgin Atlantic is an exceptional airline. They treat their customers quite well. And I'm talking about Coach.

Hey dude sorry to say.. But there not the best. There good but not great, but every time I have used them there is ALWAYS someone who pukes. Seats are sometimes uncomfortable BUT I think I'm just cursed. Good luck!
