Answer:
Of course, it all depends on what you call rich. Making 100 grand/year is rich to some folks. 100 million in the bank is rich to others. What's 'rich' to you? Some pilots are filthy rich. They didn't make their money flying airplanes though. They made their money being a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant, a business person, a stock broker or investor, or some other way. Some rich people aren't pilots. Some accountants are pilots. Some pilots can do accounting. My accountant charges me $240.00/hour. Show me a pilot that makes that much. Some do, but very few. Pilots fly for the love of flying. Some make good money at it and others struggle to feed themselves, but NO ONE GETS RICH WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!! So, having said that, you decide. Then get an education and make your OWN money.

Are a pilot's what rich? Oh! You mean "are pilots rich?"! Yes, usually they are. It doesn't matter which one makes more, neither of them will see you as marriage material with such as shallow personality... and they usually like women who know how to use punctuation correctly. EDIT: So I was correct to assume you are shallow then. Perhaps you need to base your decision on who you love, or who will make you happier, not who will inflate your bank balance the most.

No, pilots are not rich...far from it actually. For the first several years of one's career, expect to live a poor lifestyle. After several years, and for most of their career if they're lucky, expect to live a regular middle class lifestyle. Only if the pilot is very lucky in their career will they attain the jobs and seniority that can lead to more of an upper class lifestyle. Even then, they won't be rich. Pilot or accountant? I'd say neither one necessarily makes more than the other. It depends on the person and the career choices they make along the way.

Pilots can make between £35,000 to £150,000 depending on what they are e.g. Captain etc A Captain is certainly richer than an accountant but accountants can be rich also.

Pilots aren't rich, that's for sure. You marry accountants for the security, you cheat on said accountant with pilots for excitement.
