I wonder what are the requirements to become a commercial airplane pilot in the U.S..?
-
Hello! if possible I would like to know what are the requirements to become a commercial airline pilot as american airlines ... in the U.S., and what are the universities which have the course of aviation science.
-
Answer:
Becoming pilot for an airline requires an airline pilot license - It takes about 2 years of training to get a pilot license - Then some 5 to 12 years of pilot experience to get an airline job - As far as university, a 4 years degree is required for major airlines - But the degree does NOT need to be an aviation subject - You can have a degree in, say meteorology, or accounting - Be aware that the pilot training (flight school) is extremely expensive -
