What plants are good for science projects?

Any ideas on middle school science fair projects on plants?

  • I wantewd to do something like how long does it take bleach to kill a plant, but that was already taken. Any ideas on similar projects that would not be TOO similar?

Get some fast growing seeds like mustard or cress. Try the effects on germination of temperature and water. Once germinated, try effects of light /intensity/duration/ wavelength , C02 concentration, or soil pH on their abilty to grow.

Yes get a white flower.. Put it in food colouring or dye... And moniter how far the colour rises..Try different types of white flowers and see which laps up the most dye! Hope you win!
