It is not how fast they will grow but how well. I know a plot of land that the sub soil was very well irrigated and there are high bushes that grow blackberries and they are the biggest berries I have ever seen.

How much is enough? It varies per plant. If I water my philodendrons every other day they grow faster and are healthier than if I only water them once a week.
