What jobs are there in botany?

Im thinking of studing botany, wat kind of jobs is there that i can get if i study this?

  • can u tell me wat kind if jobs his there if u study botany, and how long does it take?

  • Answer:

Most botany jobs are in agriculture I think. You can work in a lab to develop and evaluate chemical products such as pesticides and fertilisers, or in horticultural businesses. There are also a number of job opportunities in environmental consultancy and management, especially in America. Other jobs are involved in cosmetic products and medicines developed from plant products. Botanists sometimes also work in food quality control in industry and checking imports. More varied and interesting work is available if you study longer and do an academic job, in a non-profit research station or a university, or working for a governmental agriculture department.
