Will the temperature of coffee affect the growth of seeds?
-
I'm doing an experiment on the growth of seeds and I was wondering if the temperature of coffee will affect the growth of it. ie. will hot coffee make seeds grow faster or will cold coffee make seeds grow faster or the temperature of coffee doesn't affect the growth. If you can, please link to a source Thanks.

Answer:
You're a little vague here--what are you doing with the coffee? If you're using brewed coffee as a fertilizer, the growth won't be affected by the temperature unless it's hot or cold enough to shock the plant, which will be an adverse effect. This is true for any liquid, including water. If you're serving it to them, most of them will want it hot. You can always offer iced coffee to see if you get any takers.
